Singapore Blockchain Innovation Programme (SBIP) is a collaborative and nationwide technical community, hosted by the National Research Foundation, that aims to advance blockchain technologies for business.
Key Objectives and Motivation
As Singapore continues on the journey to realize its smart nation vision, reliance on sharing of knowledge, technologies and processes will only increase. The emerging blockchain technology eliminates a number of risks that come with data being held centrally, enhancing trustiness of information sharing.
The ability of making sense of and utilizing blockchain technology will enable Singapore to fully harness the power of technology to create solutions that can improve the lives of its citizens and allow its businesses to be more competitive in the new digital economy.
Nationwide Technical Community
SBIP aims to unite communities of software developers in Singapore to build blockchain frameworks and platforms.
